Currently taking part in an ethnographic research project devoted to the study of telecare devices for the elders in their domestic environments, focusing on the users' modes of subjectivation/embodiment (i.e. ways of practicing life, safety and security, family, care and autonomy) and their modes of dwelling
Main research topics
-Science and technology studies (social and health care technologies)
-Genealogy of social protection (governmentalities and biopolitics of third age)
-Relational approaches to practices and the development of human ecologies (anthropology of techniques, distributed cognition, embodiment and modes of subjectivation, dwelling practices)
Since 2005 I am Publishing Manager of AIBR. Revista de Antropología Iberoamericana (quarterly journal of Anthropology in Spanish), where I have been member of the Editorial Board since 2004: www.aibr.org
In January 2009 I was elected Student Representative Member of the EASST Council (European Association for the Study of Science and Technology - www.easst.net )
