About

I'm interested in the ecophysiology of plants suffering of stress or any kind of disturbance. I started my research in the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC, Spain) with Ph.D. Fernando Valladares, studying adaptations to light ambient of Mediterranean plant species and its relantionship with water stress.

Later, I obtained my Ph.D. degree with Professor Begoña Peco in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) by means of a thesis about the effects of grazing in Mediterranean grasslands, highlighting the effects of defoliation.

Currently, I live in Pachuca de Soto, México, and I´m searching for a new place for continuing my research.
